The final exam has been drafted and it is TOUGH and LENGTHY. (revenge time :P)
Kindly study from the mid-term course contents too.
From Process Control Instrumentation Technology:
1.1 to 1.4, 1.5.2, 1.5.3, 1.6.2
4.1, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5
5.5 and 5,6 complete (no matter I have taught in class or not, read it all)
7.3, 7.5.2, 7.5.3 (including numericals given in assignment and relevant end chapter problems)
8.2, 8.3 (minus flowchart), 8.4, 8.5 (practice the design examples and relevant end chapter problems)
9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.5 and 9.6
Additional topics in the power point slide I have uploaded. RTD, 3-wire, 4-wire calculations, Seeback effect, Peltier effect, Thermocouple and its compensation techniques. Proximity switch.
PLC source and sink wiring.
Solenoid Valve, Pneumatic Valve, Hydraulic Valve etc.
Ladder Logic done in class and lab ( I am excluding relay logic for your ease).
Rotary Encoders (Incremental and Absolute) in detail, gray code, relevant DCNT in PLC that was discussed in class.
4 to 20 mA current for analog transmission
